The Pedro Zaragoza Vizcarra Foundation received a financial contribution, yesterday morning, in the amount of 751 thousand and 734 pesos, on behalf of the self-service commercial chain OXXO, which itself amassed the sum during a fundraiser whereby patrons of the convenience stores were asked to donate spare cents as part of their purchases in the months of March, April and May.
Verónica Jiménez Montes said that students at 11 educational institutions would benefit from free breakfast meals, with these funds.
